About Us

Hi!

If you're reading this, chances are you probably already know one of us. Otherwise I'm not sure how you would have stumbled across our blog.

Side note, I use the term "our" pretty loosely. Jonathan probably won't be doing much writing. And I'll do my best not to put words into his mouth (metaphorically) because I do a pretty terrible job when I try to finish his sentences...

If by some crazy chance you don't know us, we're Sara & Jonathan. We live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with our cat, Sydney, and our dog, Daisy. We tried to conceive for about five years before we began discussing and praying about adoption. We decided to begin our adoption journey in August of 2015. We are adopting locally, and are hoping to adopt two siblings under the age of six. We are extremely blessed that our family, friends and co-workers have all been supportive of our decision and are eager to help in any way they can.
